So I found this bright geode pattern at the fabric store, and it was too fun to not make a shirt out of it.
Overall I think it turned out pretty well. The collar was a bit wider than I intended for it to be so it has a bit of a seventies vibe to it but that’s not the end of the world. I guess the seventies vibe kind of goes with funky pattern. I was a bit conflicted on what kind of buttons I should use for the shirt but I ended up using clear buttons because the shirt was already bright enough on its own.
I think I’ll probably make this shirt again with a more subtle pattern. I should’ve made the buttons a little bit closer to the edge but they work fine where they are now.
