I’m almost done with the top. I had to do a lot of ironing today but so far it’s looking pretty good. I am in the middle of resewing the zipper because I wanted to make the back of the neck a little bit lower. I think the invisible zipper came out alright especially considering I hardly ever do invisible zippers. The top fits almost perfectly except for the very bottom where it get’s a bit too tight but that’s not the end of the world because I have seam allowance in the seams on the front that I could let out a little bit, but I’ll do that tomorrow. I also have to sew the thingies to the armholes to finish them off but I don’t know what the thingies are called.
I really need to set an alarm on my phone because I keep forgetting to eat lunch. Whoops.
I’m also doing a pretty solid job of keeping my room relatively clean. I’ve been putting everything away at the end of the day which I don’t normally do for projects and I’ve also been vacuuming or sweeping when necessary to get rid of all of the little threads on the floor. I’m also doing a pretty good job at actually throwing threads away in the trash can instead of just flinging them in the general direction of the trash can like I used to do.
I definitely feel a lot more motivated to do this work than some of the work that I was being given towards the end of the school year because I actually enjoy this.
Today I worked from 7 am-3:30 pm (8 and a half hours).
