I was thinking about how I will go about hemming my prom dress which may be difficult because I am only one person and it’s going to be difficult to get it at the right length while I am wearing it. I may have to recruit some help for that. I guess that’s one of the negative aspects of working by myself.
The stripes on my dress didn’t line up perfectly but that’s alright because it’s going to be covered by graduation robes most of the time. All I have left for that is to hem it and to finish the sleeves and sew the zipper in.
Somebody asked me why I don’t just use a tiny pair of scissors to get the pin out of the bottom of my sewing machine and that is because, first of all, I tried tweezers and they were too big as it is a very small slot that the pin fell through, and second of all I do not want to break my sewing machine and the pin is not causing any problems just chilling at the bottom of my machine so that is its new home.
Today I worked from 8 am-2 pm (6 hours).
