I decided it would be better to sew the lights to the satin instead of the tulle because I figured the satin would probably be better at holding the weight. I put a little pocket in the lining to hold the battery pack and then I sewed the lights on, I just put one of the strings on and that went around one and a half times and I think that’s enough lights but I also have a whole other string in case I want to put more or use them in another project.
I’m almost done sewing the top layer of the skirt and then I have to sew all of those layers to the top of the dress but I’m not going to hem the dress until I know what shoes I am going to be wearing.
It was almost ninety degrees in my room today because people are painting in my house so we have all the windows open and the AC turned off. It was so hot that I didn’t really feel like moving that much or doing anything but I managed to get my work done.
Today I worked from 8 am-4 pm (8 hours).
